Our New Colleagues in Saskatoon
We are happy to present our newest colleagues in Saskatoon who bring senior experience and mentorship in the fields of geotechnical, civil, and geological engineering.
Andy Schier joined Clifton as a Senior Civil Engineer. He has 20 years of experience as a civil land development and environmental engineering consultant. His experience and expertise includes stormwater management, solid waste, environmental remediation, trenchless pipeline construction, wetland permitting, roadway, utilities, mass grading, airport development, cost estimation, and construction phase services. Andy provides local land development, project management and senior design consultation, and his project management experience is a key asset.
Erin Moss Tressel has joined Clifton as a Senior Geological Engineer. Erin has a wide variety of experience with geo-environmental, geotechnical, mining, and geological projects involving management, organization and completion of contaminated site remediation, subsurface investigations, oriented rock core logging and rock classification, environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring and project management, pit slope design, downhole geophysical analysis, geoscientific study, construction tendering and team management. Erin has had the opportunity to work extensively in northern Saskatchewan, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories interacting and cooperating with local residents, operating under the local regulatory systems, and working with environmental extremes at operating mine sites, exploration camps, and historical contaminated sites. Erin's experience is based in project management for geo-environmental and geotechnical investigations and assessments, geotechnical and hydrogeological field investigation programs to depths greater than 800 metres, geological study of Northern Saskatchewan, technical writing, mentoring and training of personnel.
